Questions people ask before they order
Do I need a WBGT meter?
Yes if your site is a construction project of S$5 million or more, a shipyard or in the process industry. Plans for those sites include a calibrated monitor. Other sites can rely on NEA's WBGT readings, which the app shows.
Will it really be ready by 1 December?
Orders confirmed by lorem date are set up before 1 December. Everything in the kit is stocked locally.
How close does the water need to be?
MOM's FAQ says cool water should be within a short, convenient distance, generally no more than a 3 to 5 minute walk. We place stations by work front, not by site entrance.
Are instant cold packs enough for emergencies?
No. MOM says instant chemical cold packs can supplement, but not replace, cold water, ice packs or water spray. Our kits are kept cold, tagged and checked.
Can cooling clothing replace our PPE?
No. We check workwear and cooling aids against the PPE each task requires before issuing them.
How does yearly maintenance work?
Buying the kit includes the first 12 months. After that, renew each year on its own: WBGT calibration by an accredited lab (required by MOM for on-site meters), kit inspection, restock and document updates.
Can I pay by purchase order?
Yes. Choose invoice at checkout and add your PO number. You can also pay the setup fee by PayNow.
What is the site audit?
A free 30-minute walk of your site against the 17 points. You get a pass/fail report and one quote to close every gap. No obligation.
Does the app track my workers?
No. There are no wearables, no location tracking and no step counting. It records site conditions, alerts, training and supplies.
What happens when the project ends?
You keep the kit. Tap "End project" in the app to get the final records, and we can move and set everything up at your next site at 10% off.
